Download data from an online well record database, open the data in a spreadsheet program, review the data to find and eliminate inconsistencies, then evaluate statistics on the \u2018clean\u2019 data for a few of the available fields of depth and yield. For example, the following average well depth and yield are presented for the city of \u2018Big Creek\u2019 by downloading the British Columbia Wells Database (Exercise 1)<\/a> and filtering the \u2018City\u2019 field by \u201cBig Creek\u201d, and generating averages for the \u2018finished well depth\u2019 and \u2018well yield\u2019 fields.
